Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team in store operations, merchandising, and facilities to create a top-tier customer experience and drive sales. You will oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, replenishment, inventory, and store fulfillment while coordinating with visual and selling teams to ensure elevated presentations.

You will lead weekly planning, forecast receipts, and labor needs, and build team capability through training and coaching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable with technology and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in store operations, merchandising, and facilities for a positive customer experience and sales.
• Oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, replenishment, inventory, and fulfillment.
• Direct front-of-house activities: product placement, pricing, signage, and floor sets.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams to maintain planograms and store presentation.
• Plan and prep weekly leadership workload and forecast receipts and labor.
• Coach and develop associates to deliver consistent results and excellent service.
• Drive retention and engagement through recognition and career development conversations.
• Assist recruitment and onboarding to build a ready-now bench of talent.
• Manage shortage control and asset protection to protect inventory.
