Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Whitehall, PA store to drive merchandising execution and operational standards. You will assist the Store Manager, manage truck processes, planogram sets, and ensure pricing accuracy to deliver a customer-friendly environment.

You will lead team members, coordinate with leadership for staffing, and maintain stock and backroom organization while upholding SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product integrity and stock movement.
• Perform price changes and ensure pricing integrity across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and accurate RTVs/ASN processing.
• Handle store damages procedures and shrink reduction; train and develop team.
