Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Manager for a McMurray, PA store.

You will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to create a customer-ready store. You will lead SOP adherence, policy execution, and floor leadership while coordinating with store leadership on staffing, in-stock accuracy, pricing, promotions, and Ship from Store fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience with planograms and visual merchandising.
• Experience in inventory and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee in-stock optimization routines to drive stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control and accurate stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, signage, and product placement for promotions.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across floors and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring accurate picking/packing/shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with documentation accuracy.
• Manage damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and shrink reduction.
