Job summary

You will oversee self-performed and contracted work, manage logistics, and enforce contract requirements to meet schedule and budget targets. The role requires 7+ years in large-scale construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with scheduling, contract administration and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Experience building high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment and personnel.
• Demonstrated experience leading field operations and communicating plans effectively.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work for a project or scope.
• Implement a culture of safety and quality among employees and trade contractors.
• Create and manage plans to sequence work, manage logistics, and track materials and personnel.
• Ensure high quality of work in line with standards and project goals.
• Take initiative to deliver on schedule and on budget; communicate project milestones.
• Develop and mentor team members; build relationships with stakeholders.
• Maintain professionalism in meetings and interactions; understand owner contracts and vendor agreements.
• Participate in close-out activities including punch lists and operations training.
