Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Superintendent with an MEP/Systems focus to lead field operations on complex commercial projects in Reno, NV. You will oversee self-performed and contracted work, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and a flawless project delivery.

You will develop and communicate project plans, mentor team members, manage stakeholders, and maintain alignment with Clark's Standards of Excellence while navigating the challenges of a fast-paced construction site.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• In-depth knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• Experience leading field operations and communicating plans to diverse audiences.
• OSHA safety regulation knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work for entire project or specific scope.
• Foster safety and quality culture; conduct regular site inspections.
• Develop, manage, and communicate project sequencing, logistics, and material tracking.
• Ensure high-quality work aligned with standards and budgets.
• Take initiative to deliver on schedule and on budget.
• Update and communicate the project schedule with stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members; build a high-performing team.
• Maintain relationships with project stakeholders and attend meetings.
• Represent Clark professionally in meetings and site visits.
• Understand owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
• Assist in staff charts, general conditions, and KPI tracking.
• Participate in close-out activities including punch lists and training.
