Senior MEP Systems Lead - Construction

Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Systems Executive to drive the day-to-day management of all MEP systems on our projects. You will lead, coordinate, and mentor diverse teams from submittal to close-out, ensuring code compliance and flawless execution of Low Voltage, Security, Fire Protection, and building controls.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in construction with MEP leadership and a proven track record in design reviews, field inspections, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering/management discipline or 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 12+ years’ experience in construction and managing MEP trades, experience with a general contractor preferred.
• 6+ years of experience leading teams and working in MEP design review, drawing supervision, submittal review, field inspections, and testing & commissioning.
• Experience on large scale construction projects with MEP coordination to align team for results.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven people leadership with experience attracting, developing, and engaging diverse talent in a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract documents for constructability, code compliance and functionality.
• Lead MEP trade 3D coordination meetings and coordinated drawings submittal approvals.
• Guide and monitor MEP trade coordination and installation on site.
• Lead and manage MEP trade material submittals per contract documents.
• Lead material tracking and procurement documentation for MEP trades.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high functioning group.
• Develop and maintain MEP schedule with project field supervision.
• Review field installation and oversee testing & commissioning.
• Review and advise on MEP requisitions and contract changes.
• Lead MEP close out document delivery and manage related processes.
• Identify and develop industry relationships to win work and recruit top talent.
