Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Senior Superintendent in Malone, NY to lead multi-trade construction efforts, oversee scheduling, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate subcontractors. You will inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, report to the client, and ensure project requirements are met.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of large-scale construction experience, OSHA 30 certification, and a degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
• Minimum of 5 years experience shall be as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi-contract building projects.
• Develop project work plans, monitor performance against that work plan and be able to perform a detailed comparison of the design drawing against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades.
• Possess an OSHA 30 certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the team regarding quality, safety, and day-to-day operations.
• Lead daily scheduling and planning activities of contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure the right materials, equipment, and people are available to get the job done.
• Perform all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inspection and report to the client.
