Jacobs is seeking a Senior Superintendent in Albany, NY to lead construction execution, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and quality across multiple projects. You will develop and communicate the project work plan, monitor manpower, and align designs with field reality.

The role requires 10+ years in construction, 5+ years as Superintendent on multi-contract builds, and travel to various sites. Onsite work model with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Superintendent on large-scale, multi-contract building projects.
• Develop and communicate a project work plan; monitor manpower and performance; coordinate design drawings across trades.
• Proficient knowledge of all aspects of construction supervision.
• Full-cycle construction background resolving field issues.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites.
• Knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, building systems, contract management, and client relationships.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date.

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Superintendentin Albany,NY, who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget.

As the Construction Superintendent, you’ll take the lead on developing and communicating the project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against that work plan, and be able to perform a detailed comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades. You’ll provide direction to the team regarding quality, safety, and general day-to-day operations. Your ability to coordinate onsite work schedules with the client’s staff and manage multiple projects at a time will be critical to your success. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Related education, in the form of college credit or degree, or professional certification may be acceptable as partial or fulfillment of experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience shall be as Superintendent on large-scale, multi-contract building projects
• Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against the work plan, and perform a details comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades
• Proficient level of knowledge relative to all aspects of construction supervision
• Full-cycle construction background resolving issues in the field
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites
• Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required
• OSHA 30 or ability to be obtained within 30 days of start date

The base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $168,280.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
