Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee all day-to-day MEP site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with the project plan.

You will direct field personnel, coordinate with the project team, manage subcontractors, and report progress to the Project Manager while upholding Suffolk's standards across scheduling, pre-construction, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline and project experience.
• 4+ years of experience in related construction fields.
• Ability to manage and embrace change; adapt to new processes and ways.
• Applicable area licenses.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and balance budget, schedule and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day MEP on-site activities and OSHA safety compliance.
• Direct field personnel according to the project plan and Suffolk principles.
• Communicate issues and progress daily to the Project Manager.
• Report problems promptly to facilitate cost-effective solutions.
• Establish relationships with clients and Suffolk team members.
• Attend safety, scheduling, and project coordination meetings.
• Manage subcontractor performance to quality and safety standards.
