Job summary

DPR Construction seeks an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead a team of mechanical, electrical and plumbing professionals on complex projects in Louisiana. You will drive safety, quality, and on-site execution to meet schedule and client expectations.

In this role you’ll coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors, mentor staff, uphold regulatory standards, and align field activities with project goals to deliver exceptional results for clients and the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years in MEP field engineering or construction management.
• 1-2 years in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of MEP professionals.
• Oversee all MEP construction activities to meet specs and codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, MEP subs, and suppliers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for MEP operations.
• Review daily field documentation and productivity records.
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
