MEP Field Lead – Complex Construction Projects

Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned MEP Field Lead to drive day-to-day field execution for complex construction projects. You will coordinate across project teams, trade partners, and self-perform work to ensure safe, on-time delivery of MEP systems.

Lead with advanced technical knowledge, guide sequencing and site logistics, and mentor field staff. You will contribute to continuous improvement and uphold DPR's standards of integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in MEP field operations
• Experience with complex projects with integrated MEP systems
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; within 6 months of hire required
• First Aid and CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day MEP field execution for assigned scopes of work on complex projects, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence
• Coordinates with project managers, superintendents, MEP trade partners, and self-perform teams to resolve complex MEP issues
• Guides MEP work sequencing, system integration, and site logistics for efficient installation and commissioning activities
• Oversees implementation of safety plans and quality control measures specific to MEP operations
• Reviews and validates MEP field documentation (daily reports, look-ahead plans, coordination logs) for accuracy
• Identifies and supports integration of MEP prefabrication, modularization, and alternative installation strategies
• Provides informal mentorship and technical guidance to field team members without formal management responsibilities

Education

Associate's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or related field
