Job summary

Skanska seeks a dynamic Superintendent - MEP to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work on a construction project in Portland.

This role is the primary field leader for MEP activities and requires strong on-site presence, collaboration with project management, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners to resolve issues and keep work aligned with project goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Proven MEP construction experience
• 7+ years of Safety and QAQC cultural knowledge
• 7+ years of Electrical trade specific knowledge
• 5+ years experience managing schedules and subcontractors, and coordinating with architectural trades
• 5+ years experience working with contracts and exhibits
• 5+ years experience with detailed planning and demonstrated ability to understand plans and specs

Responsibilities

• Supervising subcontractors and coordinating with project teams to ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
• Monitoring progress, managing logistics, and maintaining safety and quality standards on site.
• Supporting schedule and cost control efforts and ensuring contract requirements are met.
• Managing contracts, risk, and change-related issues, including pay requisitions and insurance/certification compliance.
