Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant MEP Superintendent to coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trades on diverse projects in the US. You will supervise craft labor and subcontractors, review certifications, and participate in safety meetings to uphold project standards.

The role emphasizes site operations, schedule management, and close collaboration with Project Managers for timely delivery. A strong client focus and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Minimum five years construction supervision or related experience.
• Minimum five years construction management or related experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage project labor (craft labor, subcontractors)
• Monitor and address issues within weekly labor reports
• Review and approve craft worker certifications and trainings for specialty craft roles
• Coordinate on-site operations/Scope of Work (Equipment, Labor, Schedule)
• Support safety audits and quality control of work
