Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to review, manage, and resolve field coordination issues across project teams. You will coordinate plans, review docs for constructability, and keep the schedule on track in Lincoln, Omaha, Cedar Rapids area.

Responsibilities include planning, site logistics, supervising MEP crews, and collaborating with design engineers and other superintendents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
• Eight+ years of construction experience with supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex data center projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of construction law and business practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work
• Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service
• Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability
• Review and understand contract documents
• Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies
• Participate in the development and management of project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules
• Develop a site logistics plan
• Manage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment
• Collaborate with project partner superintendents
