Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to review and manage field coordination issues with project teams in Lincoln, NE and surrounding locations. The role demands strong communication, flexibility, and integrity across an evolving environment.

Two levels are available (MEP Superintendent I and II) with base pay ranges reflecting experience. Eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or 10 years trade experience.
• Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level.
• Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret Mortenson policies.
• Active listening skills and effective communication with diverse input.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work
• Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service
• Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability
• Review and understand contract documents
• Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies
• Participate in the development and management of project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules
• Develop a site logistics plan
• Manage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment
• Collaborate with project partner superintendents
