Southland Industries, Port Washington, WI, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multi-million dollar MEP projects within a design-build framework. You will develop strategies, manage budgets, and mentor teams to deliver on time and within financial targets.

The role emphasizes leadership, client communication, and the ability to navigate complex HVAC and piping projects across multiple phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 15+ years of experience managing mid to large size MEP projects.
• Experience on large and complex projects with process piping.
• Extensive experience managing HVAC construction projects and project financials.
• Knowledge of planning long-term projects and pre-fabrication aspects.
• Strong communication with clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large projects with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to meet project delivery goals and budgets.
• Measure progress and develop tactics to stay on track financially.
• Provide project status updates to clients and leadership.
• Partner with management to implement project strategies.
• Manage budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss schedule and issues.
• Lead and mentor project team members through all phases of projects.
• Direct teams and drive problem solving to keep projects on schedule.
• Mentor Project Managers and Engineers to support career growth.
• Apply latest construction industry trends and pioneer new practices.
