Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead coordination and management of MEP trades on major construction projects. You will work with the project team to ensure the successful completion of all MEP trade work.

The role requires driving CPM schedules, subcontractor oversight, procurement coordination, and commissioning planning, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Construction/MEP Coordination or PM/Superintendent roles.
• Bachelors in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Experience leading project teams in construction.
• Experience with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems.
• Understanding of Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Green Building Codes.
• In-depth knowledge of LEED, especially commissioning credits.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CPM schedules for all MEP installation activities, including cost and resource loading.
• Conduct site visits to review subcontractor installations and resolve deficiencies.
• Coordinate materials procurement and report progress with project team.
• Estimate and scope MEP trades during pre-construction and review documents.
• Support startup plans for MEP systems and commissioning.
• Lead MEP subcontractors through project duration from groundbreaking to turnover.
• Provide constructability reviews from contract documents and subcontracts.
• Represent Sundt Construction at weekly Owner and contractor meetings.
