Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Manager for a Fargo, ND project. You will lead the MEP coordination from design through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.

Ideal candidates bring a track record of leading MEP and construction efforts, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management, and 6+ years of experience; LEED is preferred and proficiency in Office, AutoCAD

Qualifications

• History of progressively more responsible leadership experience and proven results in MEP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 6+ years related experience.
• 5+ years of design or project management experience.
• LEED certification preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage MEP work from design coordination through completion and closeout.
• Lead project teams, review plans for constructability and cost feasibility, and manage budgets.
• Coordinate with local codes, liaise with clients, subcontractors and design teams.
• Read drawings, manage QA/QC, and ensure safety within the Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Develop and manage RFPs, submittals, and coordination drawings/models as needed.
• Support pre-bid activities and ongoing coordination with project participants.
