Job summary

Eastern Contractors Corporation is seeking a senior leader to drive business development for MEP-focused industrial construction projects across the US. You will originate opportunities, manage licensing strategies, and shape delivery models with owners, EPCs, and JV partners.

You will guide preconstruction, pricing, and risk assessment while partnering with executives to grow the MEP segment and expand capabilities across states. Occasional travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Proven, verifiable network of owner/EPC/GC relationships within the US industrial construction sector.
• Strong understanding of state MEP licensing requirements, especially in TX, AZ, and IN.
• Entrepreneurial, business-owner mindset aligned with growth in MEP delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue industrial construction opportunities where MEP scope is critical.
• Leverage relationships to originate and develop new opportunities with owners, EPCs, GCs, and public agencies.
• Lead go/no-go decisions balancing margin, risk, and execution capability.
• Provide operational input on electrical, mechanical, and specialty construction scope strategy.
• Support MEP licensing efforts at state/local levels where applicable.
• Help establish MEP delivery models (self-perform, licensed subs, JV).
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Construction teams on scope, pricing, and risk mitigation.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on MEP pipeline, licensing status, and growth opportunities.
