Job summary

Integrity Technical Services in Akron, OH seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP) to lead HVAC design for complex projects, perform load calculations, design central plants, and coordinate disciplines from concept through construction administration.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure QA/QC, and represent the firm in client and architect meetings, site visits, and RFI reviews while driving continuous improvement and adherence to codes and standards.

Qualifications

• B.S.M.E. and Ohio PE license (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
• 4+ years of MEP/consulting design experience in healthcare, higher education, institutional, municipal, or commercial sectors.
• HVAC load calculations, central plants, hydronics, and building automation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC design, load calculations, hydronics, air distribution, and client/control specifications from concept through permitting and construction administration.
• Ensure adherence to building, energy, and life-safety codes; oversee Revit modeling and QA/QC.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on scopes, schedules, budgets; represent the firm in client meetings, site visits, and RFI reviews.
• Delegate tasks, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
