Design Hire seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical piping systems for high-rise and complex commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive MEP consulting experience, a strong background in high-rise building design, and the ability to independently lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in an MEP/AE consulting environment.
• Active PE license required; Georgia licensure strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience designing mechanical systems for high-rise buildings.
• Strong HVAC design experience including sizing, load calculations, and piping design.
• Experience with plumbing and fire protection system design and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for engineering design and documentation.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical codes and building standards for high-rise projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical piping systems for high-rise and complex commercial projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, layouts, specs, and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines to meet project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, review deliverables, and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage mechanical deliverables, support client coordination, and oversee design activities through construction administration.
