Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Senior MEP Manager to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of MEP systems on high-profile commercial ground-up projects in the Southeast. The role offers relocation support and a strong bonus program, with a salary range of $120,000–$190,000 per year.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of MEP management experience, expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and proven project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in MEP management in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proficient in MEP design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of MEP design and construction for various projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure the alignment of MEP systems with overall project goals.
• Review and approve MEP designs and changes, ensuring they meet all safety standards and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts related to MEP activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of MEP systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MEP systems.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management.
