Job summary

Jobot is seeking an MEP Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team across design-build and manufacturing projects. You will drive technical leadership, ensure quality, and coordinate with clients and partners to deliver high-performing building systems.

The role requires 8+ years in MEP engineering, 3+ years of leadership, and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Salary ranges from $110k to $135k with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in MEP engineering.
• 3+ years of leadership or team management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, power, plumbing, fire protection, and controls.
• Experience with design-build, industrial, healthcare, or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of MEP engineers, designers, and technical specialists.
• Establish engineering standards, workflows, and best practices across MEP disciplines.
• Manage team workload, project assignments, and resource planning.
• Provide technical leadership for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system design.
• Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, manufacturing, and construction teams to support project execution.
