Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Bloomington, MN is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection on a major project through design to closeout.

You will supervise design and progress, ensure codes compliance, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and drive budget, schedules and quality plans while fostering a safe, collaborative project culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 6+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience in design or project management.
• LEED certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership throughout a project to ensure timely and quality results.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work, including supervision of the design and progress of the project.
• Coordinate the project with local, city, state, and county codes and officials.
• Liaise between clients, subcontractors, and design teams; manage budgets and schedules.
