Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction, a national contractor, is seeking an experienced MEP Manager for projects in the Phoenix area. You will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection from design coordination through project closeout.

Safety is integral; manage collaboration with clients, subs, and design teams; provide guidance to Superintendents and PMs; review plans for constructability and cost; manage MEP progress and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required.
• 6+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience.
• LEED certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership throughout a project to ensure timely and quality results.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work; coordinate with codes and officials.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Provide technical guidance to Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Review project plans for constructability and cost feasibility; assess project risks.
• Analyze and manage MEP progress, costs, and budgets; prepare quantity surveys.
