Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Bloomington, MN seeks a senior construction project manager to lead complex builds, coordinate design teams and trades, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence on multi-million dollar projects.

You will review shop drawings and RFIs, manage budgets and cash flow, prepare cost analyses, and foster collaboration among owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years leading projects over $5M.
• Or an associate's degree with 8+ years relevant project management experience.
• Proficiency with scheduling, budgeting, and project software such as Procore, MS Project, P6, Bluebeam.
• Solid understanding of value engineering, lifecycle costing, and project profitability.
• Experience with multiple contract types under CMR and Design-Build.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team to ensure safety, schedule, and quality results.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders for coordination.
• Prepare and update detailed construction schedule with the superintendent.
• Lead project estimate reviews, start-up, interim, and close-out meetings.
• Manage submittals, changes, and contract clarifications with owners and trades.
• Control project costs, budgets, and cash flow; prepare pay applications.
• Maintain logs and documentation for progress meetings and close-out.
• Ensure project quality per AP quality management programs.
• Facilitate collaboration among design teams, owners, and subcontractors.
