Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection on Phoenix-area projects. You will direct design coordination, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with clients, subs, and design teams to ensure quality and safety.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 6+ years in MEP/construction, plus strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 6+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience in design or project management.
• LEED certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software.
• Strong analytical and logic skills with high precision on detailed work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure timely and quality results on a project.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate MEP work including supervision of design and progress.
• Coordinate with local/state/county codes and officials.
• Liaise between clients, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Review project plans for constructability and cost feasibility; assess risks.
• Develop budgets and schedules with project managers; manage quality plans and submittals.
• Collaborate with safety to ensure job safety and compliance.
