Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an MEP Estimator to support our Boston HQ. You will develop, create and prepare MEP cost estimates for diverse projects in early development stages and update costs through pre-construction.

The role reports to our Boston office or affiliated sites and requires strong estimating experience, with an Electrical focus and On-Screen Take Off proficiency. Healthcare, life sciences, or corporate interiors experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating for general contracting projects.
• Ability to review plans and perform quantity take-offs.
• Healthcare, life sciences or corporate interiors experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and MEP drawings and prepare quantity take-offs.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and manage cost estimates for $50–$150M projects.
• Develop and maintain a centralized cost estimating process.
• Attend client meetings and support pricing and bids.
