Job summary

MSB Estimating LLC in the United States seeks an experienced MEP Estimator to prepare accurate estimates and detailed quantity takeoffs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will review drawings, specs, and project requirements to build competitive bids and proposals.

The role requires strong knowledge of MEP components, materials, labor costs, and construction methods, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in MEP estimating and quantity takeoffs.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and construction methods.
• Strong understanding of labor and material pricing.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
• Review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and specifications.
• Quantify MEP materials, equipment, fixtures, and components.
• Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Prepare competitive bids and proposals.
• Coordinate with senior estimators and project teams.
• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential cost issues.
• Review estimates and takeoffs for accuracy and completeness.
• Meet project deadlines and maintain estimating quality standards.
