STO Building Group is seeking a Senior Estimator in Boston, MA to develop construction cost estimates for diverse projects in early development stages and update estimates throughout pre-construction. This role involves multi-project support, client meetings, and collaborating with subcontractors to secure bids.

Qualifications include a BS/BA in a construction-related field and 7–12 years of estimating experience, with strong MS Office and On Screen Take Off skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required in construction-related field.
• 7–12 years experience in estimating/preconstruction or related duties for general contracting.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel) and budgeting/organizational abilities.
• Experience with On Screen Take Off or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and architectural drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for Healthcare projects.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and manage multiple projects.
• Analyze bids for conformance to specs, price, and labor costs.
• Attend client meetings and provide pricing guidance.
• Compute cost factors and prepare itemized estimates for planning and bids.
• Maintain centralized cost estimating database and processes.
