Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Chattanooga, Tennessee seeks an experienced Electrical Designer for the Nuclear Power Group. You will develop electrical equipment layouts, cable trays, and conduit raceways in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit, producing deliverables and BOMs.

You will lead design phases, resolve 3D clashes, and mentor junior drafters, ensuring timely, accurate results. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office work three days per week, supporting collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of detailed design experience in electrical plant design drawings.
• Proficiency with 3D plant layout models and electrical deliverables.
• Ability to interface with engineering and design teams of other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical equipment layouts, cable trays, and conduits in 3D models.
• Lead design phases, resolve clashes, and maintain schedules.
• Coordinate and provide guidance to other designers and project team members.
• Mentor less experienced drafters and designers to develop skills.
