Job summary

Sargent & Lundy’s Nuclear Power Group is seeking experienced CAD designers for advanced reactor and SMR projects. Ideal candidates will have extensive drafting/design experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, and be fluent in Spanish and English. The role involves 3D CAD work, walkdowns at client sites, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (three days in the office, two remote) and potential relocation assistance depending on location.

Qualifications

8+ years drafting/design experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
Ability to visualize parts in 3D.
Ability to multi-task from project to project.

Responsibilities

Prepare design drawings based on input from multi-disciplinary teams.
Create scaled drawings showing relation of installations to existing facilities.
Assist on walkdowns at operating client facilities to gather information for design.
Explain drawings to vendors/contractors for adjustments.
Opportunity to use CAD in 3D environments (AutoCAD 3D or MicroStation).
Work in a hybrid setup with three days in office and two remote days.
