Sargent & Lundy in the United States seeks an Electrical Designer to join the Nuclear Power Group. You will develop electrical equipment, raceways, and supports in a 3-D model under the Electrical Project Lead, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to produce deliverables and BOMs.

The role requires 10+ years in electrical plant design, proficiency with 3-D design tools, and the ability to lead design activities, resolve clashes, and mentor junior drafters.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of detailed electrical plant design experience.
• Proficiency with 3D plant layout tools.
• Experience reviewing project deliverables and vendor drawings.
• Ability to interface with multiple engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop electrical equipment, cable tray and conduit raceways in 3-D model.
• Generate design deliverables, BOMs, and commodity lists.
• Coordinate and guide designers to timely complete designs.
• Mentor less experienced drafters and designers.
• Resolve clashes in the 3D model and report status.
