Job summary

HEAPY Solutions in Dayton, OH is seeking a Construction Project Estimator to support complex MEP infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will analyze drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates, and collaborate with project teams to help drive successful bids.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of estimating experience on large MEP or infrastructure projects, proficiency with estimating software, and a collaborative, data‑driven approach aligned with HEAPY's

Qualifications

Normally requires 10+ years of MEP construction estimating or related cost management experience.
Experience with large, complex projects (preferably $5M+).
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Trimble.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed and ROM cost estimates for MEP infrastructure projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and general trades.
Review drawings, specs, studies and site information to prepare accurate estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients to reflect project goals and risks in estimates.
Support bid/proposal development, value engineering, cost forecasting, and budgeting.
