Job summary

Willmeng Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to develop detailed budgets for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a diverse project portfolio, collaborating with design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

You will lead conceptual estimating efforts, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple bids under tight deadlines while driving cost‑effective, constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in estimating with a focus on MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience with subcontractor estimating; general contractor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive estimates and budgets for MEP scopes on diverse projects (data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, heavy industrial).
• Analyze drawings and specs to identify scope gaps and constructability improvements.
• Benchmark costs with subcontractors and internal teams; support design‑assist and value engineering.
• Contribute to conceptual estimating and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Mentor team members in MEP estimating best practices and tools.
• Manage multiple bids and deliverables under tight deadlines with accuracy.
• Continuously refine estimating processes for efficiency and consistency.
