Job summary

Suffolk is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead installation, commissioning, maintenance and documentation of MEP assets across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building MEP systems, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to ensuring project success.

You'll direct field teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure plans and schedules align with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline required.
• 10+ years of MEP installation, commissioning and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Familiarity with BIM and coordination of building systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and document all day-to-day commissioning activities for MEP systems.
• Direct field personnel according to project plan and Suffolk principles.
• Communicate issues, progress, and performance daily to the Project Manager.
• Lead safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance across activities.
• Coordinate with clients and Suffolk team members to maintain schedule and quality.
