Job summary

24 Hour Fitness in Portland seeks a Sales and Service Manager (SSM) to lead a club's sales and guest experience, focusing on new member acquisition, fitness services, and retail offerings.

You will hire, coach and develop a team, drive revenue, ensure excellent member engagement, and collaborate with GM and PT teams to align goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, meeting sales targets, and delivering a best-in-class, member-centric experience daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• CPR and AED certification from an approved organization is required.
• Prior management experience in service sales leading 4–10 employees is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in service sales is preferred.
• Fitness industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains and develops Sales and Service team members.
• Leads Sales and Service to offer tailored products and services to members.
• Manages team performance, engagement and scheduling within budget.
• Drives new member sales, EFT, POS fitness packages, retail and club offerings.
• Develops business plans and reviews sales numbers with GM.
• Ensures a best-in-class, member-centric club experience.
• Partners with GM and Personal Training to execute fitness initiatives.
• Engages members with fitness offerings and resolves inquiries professionally.
