Job summary

Self-Help Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Member Services Representative in Raleigh. You will initiate conversations to assess member needs, process deposits and payments, and promote credit union products.

The role requires cash handling, strong customer service, and the ability to work evenings/weekends. You will balance drawers, handle transfers, open new accounts, and support branch operations while maintaining compliance and fraud controls.

Qualifications

• 2 years MSR or equivalent experience required.
• Prior cash handling and customer service experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent service.
• Process share deposits, loan payments, and account transfers.
• Disburse cash and check withdrawals and assist with deposits/products.
• Open new membership accounts and ensure accuracy/compliance.
• Promote credit union products and services and meet growth goals.
• Balance cash drawer, post deposits, and handle end-of-day processes.
• Assist with branch operations and outreach activities.
