Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist III for the Clovis Branch. This non-exempt role focuses on accurate teller transactions, member guidance, and confidentiality. You will contribute to daily cash handling and service excellence while supporting branch operations.

You will mentor junior staff, expand member relationships with Golden 1 products, and uphold compliance with credit union policies. The position offers professional growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of banking or customer-relationship experience preferred.
• 1+ year as MSS II or teller at Golden 1 or another institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and audits financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provides Golden 1 services to members, including cashier’s checks, money orders, savings bonds, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assesses members' needs while processing transactions and documents in EnAct/ECM systems.
• Identifies opportunities to promote Golden 1 products/services and refers through EnAct/EnAct referrals.
• Maintains confidentiality of member and credit union information and ensures compliance with state/federal laws.

Education

H.S. Diploma or GED

2+ years banker experience

1+ year MSS II or teller experience
