Job summary

Seattle Credit Union is seeking a Senior Member Consultant in the Greater Seattle area to drive the member experience with strategic, action-oriented leadership. You will apply comprehensive knowledge of products and services to deliver beneficial solutions, mentor teammates, and collaborate across branches to achieve goals.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in retail banking, a track record in financial sales, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent training/experience.
• Two+ years of experience in retail banking or credit union.
• Proven track record with financial sales products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all Member Representative and Member Consultant duties and back up these responsibilities as needed.
• Understand credit union products, services, policies, and digital channels.
• Advise on IRAs, business types, trusts, estates and special accounts.
• Provide financial guidance to educate members on achieving goals.
• Mentor coworkers and promote collaboration across branches.
• Independently manage new or complex situations and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to risk mitigation with critical thinking and stakeholder alignment.
