Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field plus 4 years of post-licensure experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist; or
• Master's degree plus 2 years post-licensure experience; or
• PhD with 1 year post-licensure experience; or equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead in the development of new methods and procedures.
• Perform the duties of a Medical Technologist II.
• Train technologists on new laboratory methods and instruments, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Maintain area-specific documentation for technical, IT, quality, educational, and safety information.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instrument performance and reliability.
• Contribute to performance evaluations and competency checks of staff.
