Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field with 4 years of post-licensure experience; or Master's with 2 years; or PhD with 1 year.
• Ability to develop and maintain SOPs, quality systems, and compliance documentation.
• Proficiency in test principles, methodologies, and data interpretation; independent work and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements new testing methods and procedures.
• Performs duties of a Medical Technologist II.
• Trains technologists on new laboratory methods and instruments, ensuring compliance.
• Maintains area-specific documentation for technical, IT, quality and safety information.
• Maintains and troubleshoots instrument performance.
• Provides input into performance evaluations and competency checks.
• Communicates with internal and external clients clearly and professionally.
