Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) per NYS upon hire required.
• Prepares and analyzes patient samples using current laboratory methods and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of laboratory leadership, performs specialized testing and support for the Blood Bank-Clin Labs section.
• Maintains instrument calibration/standardization and daily quality control.
• Participates in safety, quality control, and quality assurance protocols.
• Trains other technologists, technicians, and residents as needed.
• Assists supervisor with supply inventory and procedure updates.
