Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN seeks a General Supervisor Technologist to oversee daily laboratory operations, ensure accuracy of tests, and supervise high-complexity testing. The role requires on-site presence and coordination with the Laboratory Director and Manager.

Qualified candidates will have a Medical Technology degree, Tennessee licensure as a Laboratory Supervisor, and at least 4 years of MT experience with 2 years in blood bank. Evening shift duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Technology program.
• Licensed as a Laboratory Supervisor in Tennessee.
• 4+ years as a Medical Technologist with at least 2 years in blood bank.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of department operations per policies and procedures.
• Check validity and accuracy of test results and manage inventory.
• Calibrate and standardize lab instruments as needed.
• Supervise high-complexity testing and on-site consultation.
• Assign and review staff work to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, safety, and confidentiality policies.
