Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform a broad range of clinical laboratory tests in a Central Lab setting in Memphis. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to safety protocols.

The position supports hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, microbiology, and waived testing per CLIA standards. The successful candidate will have an approved Medical Technology program, TN licensure within 120 days, and demonstrated experience in patient care as

Qualifications

• Must be graduated from an approved Medical Technology program.
• Must obtain Medical Technologist licensure through the State of TN within 120 days.
• Experience in patient care as obtained through completion of an approved Medical Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical lab tests and procedures in specimen procurement, examination and analysis following established standards and patient safety practices.
• Performs tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood gases and cardiac testing as described.
• Performs Microbiology procedures involving cultures and interpretations.
• Prepares blood samples for diagnostic testing and ensures specimen quality and proper labeling.
• Analyzes lab results, performs quality control and reports results with patient history and diagnosis.
