Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Technology program meeting CLIA and TN requirements.
• TN licensure as a Medical Technologist within 120 days required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Medical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating the daily operations and activities of the department according to policies and Lab Manager direction.
• Checks validity and accuracy of test results obtained by staff.
• Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assists in calibration and standardization of lab instruments.
• Coordinates, assigns and reviews the work of section staff to ensure complete and efficient service.
• Oversees staff performance and ensures productivity levels daily and monthly.
