Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ASCP eligible program and ongoing certification plan.
• MLS/MT certification or eligibility as required within one year of hire.
• 3–5 years of clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine and complex laboratory analyses on clinical specimens.
• Verify analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and linearity of tests.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain instrumentation; troubleshoot QC and procedures.
• Serve as a consultant to lab staff and providers; participate in continuing education.
• May mentor MT/MLT, phlebotomy, and lab processor staff and students.
