Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a credentialing professional to coordinate and supervise the medical staff credentialing and re-credentialing process. The role includes auditing applications, managing committee workflows, and ensuring adherence to bylaws and regulatory standards.

Candidate should have 3 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse medical staff managers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of medical staff bylaws, CMS, TJC and other regulations.
• Ability to audit, review, and manage credentialing applications.
• Strong communication and coordination with committees.

Responsibilities

• Audit applications and review documents for credentialing and re-credentialing.
• Coordinate processing of applications through hospital review and committee meetings.
• Prepare final Credentials Reports for Governing Board and staff communications.
• Maintain knowledge of credentialing policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support medical staff leadership with timely actions and documentation.
