Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to oversee the verification and credentialing process for medical staff and advanced practice professionals. You will coordinate applications through hospital review, assist with agenda preparation, and ensure compliance with bylaws, rules, and CMS/JCAHO standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, prior credentialing experience, and ability to liaise with medical staff managers and committees.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 3 years of experience.
• Certifications: CPCS, CPMSM, CMCS or CPMSM credentials as listed.

Responsibilities

• Audits and evaluates processes involved in verifications for medical staff and advanced practice professionals appointments, reappointments and privileges delineations.
• Audit applications and review documents, including primary source verification, for credentialing and re-credentialing.
• Coordinates the processing of applications through the hospital review process and committee meeting structure.
• Attends meetings and helps with the preparation of agendas, research and committee packets.
