Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Credentialing Coordinator to manage advanced credentialing and privileging processes in accordance with regulatory standards. You will serve as the subject matter expert and liaison between medical staff, administration, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities include auditing verifications, coordinating applications through the hospital review process, and presenting files during surveys.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • Must obtain one of the listed certifications within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and verify credentialing and privileging processes for medical staff and APPs.
  • Review applications and primary source verification for credentialing and re-credentialing.
  • Coordinate hospital review process and committee meeting timelines.
  • Prepare Credentials Report for the Governing Board.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical staff bylaws and policies.
  • Collaborate with legal, quality, and risk departments on provider issues.
  • Provide administrative support to medical staff meetings and distribution of materials.
